Question about Televison & Video
I have a Toshiba 60" projection TV and recently noticed the blue color in the corner is skewed (looks like you take a straight line and then pull it over) It is only like that in one part of the screen, the corner. The rest is fine. I tried to adjust the colors through the menu screen and when I go to adjust that part of the screen (this model has adjustments for 9 parts of the screen) , the white line has blue to the right on the top and blue to the left on the bottom so you can't adjust it to the cross line.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.

Is there an advanced convergence setup anywhere in the menu where the screen displays a grid? If so, you might want to get into that and move along the grid to each section that looks off. Adjust until the color falls behind the gridline, and move on to the next. It can be a time-consuming process, but should take care of your convergence issues.

If the convergence on one or more color does not align using the convergence setup procedure, that means that one or more convergence ICs must be replaced, that is the reason why you get bad picture.
That means that the convergence ICs are bad and must be replaced, the job is about $200/$300.

Go to zenith.com, look under the service icon at the top and then you should see a listing for "Class Action Lawsuit/Settlement". If you follow that link, they'll have specifics listed for this suit that was brought against them (including tv model #s included in the suit). There was an agreement reached to fix/replace affected t.v.s, court date was in Feb. I believe, and just waiting now until they post information on how to proceed.
Good luck and hope that helps.
