Hey Josue ,I just opened mine I have the same car and remote when you open it into two parts the side that is the back ,not the one with the buttons place it on a flat surface with slot for batteries facing up to you take first battery and place it in with negative - down in first into cast and you will see the positive + facing up so you can see it,put in the next battery the same way negative - down and positive + facing up to you , that's it reassemble and try it. good luck .
Yes it does face the back of the camera. Try this: turn the camera over so that the battery/card slot door is facing to the right. When you open the door you should see the batteries first then the slot for your sd card. If you insert the card into the slot from this position the card label should be facing you with the notch in the card facing to the left, this should be how you insert your card. I believe it is on Page 15 of your instruction manual.
If the card is facing with the contacts towards you then it is inserted incorrectly. If you have inserted it correctly then the card is spring loaded so gently push down on the sd card and it should pop up if it doesn't then it is jammed.
If it is jammed you can try to remove it yourself with a pair of needle nose tweezers or you might just have to send it off to canon service center or your local repair/camera shop to remove the card and hope that you have not damaged the camera itself.
From page 6 of the manual: "Insert the two top batteries with the positive terminal facing out and the two bottom batteries with the negative terminal facing out. Note: If the battery door does not shut, please check the position of the batteries."
To install the batteries:1. With the back of the radio facing you, remove the belt clip (seediagram below) for easy access, then remove the Battery Coverby pressing down on the top center and sliding it down from theradio.2. Insert 4 AA batteries observing the polarity as shown. Installingthe batteries incorrectly will prevent the unit from operating ormay damage the unit.3. Return the Battery Cover by sliding it up on the radio. Replace thebelt clip, making sure it locks into place. To install the batteries: 1. It really depends on what you are attempting to place the batteries in. However, as a general rule the small side, which is the positive side (+), faces downward. It will either work or it won't should you place it in the incorrect way.
Same problem. Fully charged main battery. In my case, I hadn't used the camera in over 6 months. All I did was pull the main battery and then pulled the small CR 2016 button cell battery located inside the main battery compartment and re-inserted both batteries. The camera made a quiet click and then turned on with the main power switch and asked to reset the date and time. Works fine now. If this doesn't work just purchase a new button cell.
