Question about LG LRMM1430 Microwave Oven
My microwave works just fine, but the inside light bulb is not working. I can not figure out where it is located to change it, or what kind of light blub I have to get to change it. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Unscrew the vent at the top of the microwave(2 phillips head screws)
inside to the right you'll see another screw holding a metal panel. Unscrew this and take the panel off and you'll see the bulb, which will unscrew counter-clockwise

On my Spacemaker JVM163, I unscrewed the two top screws for the vent. After the vent was removed, I found a plate covering the light bulb. The plate removed easily by moving the plastic clip to the left. The light bulb has been replaced, and works well.

If there is not an access panel inside the cooking area (cavity) or on the back, then the outer cover will have to be removed to access the lamp. For help on that, you can find my safety info and disassembly text files by doing a search on Yahoo for this term: microwave oven disassembly.txt
