If it does it while you are away or no actually using the PC, I would suspect a Trojan or spy ware. Run you Anti-virus and download and instal WinPatrol, CCcleaner, SpyBlaster. all are free and dependable.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

When attempting to burn project in MY DVD8 an error appears 800402007 while encoding. I am therefor unable to burn disc

Generally, defragmenting your hard disk will resolve this issue. To defragment your computer:
  1. Go to Start--> Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Disk Defragmenter.
  2. When the Disk Defragmenter window opens, choose Defragment.

If defragmentation doesn't resolve the issue, burn your project as a data file, and then burn your project as a data disc using Disc Copier or Creator Classic. To create a disc image/data file:

  1. After clicking the Burn button, the Burn Project window opens.
  2. You have two data burning options:
    • Image file - this option will save your project as an .ISO file. To burn this file you will need to use the Burn Image option in Creator's Copy section.
    • Folder Set - burning a folder set will create a Video_TS folder that you can burn using Creator Classic. Burning a folder set to DVD will create a fully functional DVD. Do NOT rename the Video_TS folder other wise it will not play! Simply place it in a folder that is the name of your project if you need to keep track.

Tip: Either of the above options are a great way to not only back up your projects, but make multiple copies to reduce encoding time!

Error 49.4c02 comes up whenever i want to do duplex printing

Hello thanks for using FixYa

This is a critical firmware error that occur which cause the processor on the formatter to abort operation. This type of error can be because of invalid print commands, corrupt data,or invalid operations. Sometimes electrical noise in the cable can corrupt data during transmission to the printer. Other causes include poor quality parallel cables or poor connections,
To solve this try this solution step by step
  • Turn the printer off and then back on.
  • Try printing a job from a different software application. If the job prints, go back to
  • the first application and try printing a different file. If the message appears only with a certain software application or print job, contact the software vendor for assistance.
  • f the message persists with different software applications and print jobs, disconnect all cables to the printer that connect it to the network or PC.
  • Turn the printer off.
  • Remove all memory DIMMs or third-party DIMMs from the printer. (Do not remove the firmware DIMM in slot J1.)
  • Remove all EIO devices from the printer.
  • Turn the printer on.
  • If the error no longer exists, install each DIMM and EIO device one at a time, making sure to turn the printer off and back on as you install each
  • device.
  • Replace a DIMM or EIO device if you determine that it causes the error.
  • Remember to reconnect all cables that connect the printer to the network or computer.
  • If the error persists, final option is replace the firmware
I hope this solution will helpful 4 u

I use buffalo 1 TB external power hard disk on IMAC, it was work fine but now suddenly, when i copy any thing to it one error message came ''unexpected error--(error code 0)'' can't copy. please give me...

First when you attach it to your USB port it should come up as an external drive in any Finder window. If not then you need to run Disk Utility, found in Utilities in the Applications folder or just search in Finder for it. Select the external drive and make sure it says or and Partition Map Scheme : Apple Partition Map if it was formatted in 10.4 or earlier (you didn't say) or Partition Map Scheme : GUID Partition Table if formatted in 10.5 or later. If not formatted so, for example, it's Fat32, then it is set for a PC.
Assuming the last and that this is a new drive, you will need to format it for a Mac to be able to write. Select the Erase heading and for Format select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) in 10.5 or later or Apple Partition Map in earlier versions. Name the disk. Press Erase, knowing that the drive will be cleared of data. You can also choose to partition the disk, usually not needed nor desireable.
You can then return to First Aid and Repair Disk and after that Fix Permissions. If your disk had data already (you seem to say so) then this is where you would start making sure it says Write Status : Read/Write.
If the Partition Map is not as given above and thus the disk is read-only, then you will need to transfer the data to your internal or another external with the right map. -Ken

Cd rom wont write to disc, can this be fixed?

Its not a terminal problem but an issue with your CDWRITER or the application you use in performing CD Writing

CHECKLIST
1. Make sure you are using a Blank Empty CD

SOLUTIONS
1. Try formating the Blank disks from Windows Explorer and not from the utility software
2. Check your CDWRITER settings (usually problems do not arise from here) you could set the settings default.

Are there any error messages when trying to write data on the CD?
