Cannon powershot sd750-video problem

Hello~ I need help with the video portion of the camera. I took video clips and each of them were about 1 to 4 minutes long. When I try to watch my video the sound is off and the video is on super high speed. For example, when I take a video and its for 3 minutes the replay of it is done with in a couple seconds. I cant seem to change the option to it to where it shows it how i recorded it. Please HELP!

thank you

Thanks for your input archlight1217! After playing with my camera I figured out what was wrong. As I record a video I thought I was suppose to push down the button the entire time...it's suppose to be just once and it should record...anyway, when i play back it plays super fast. Oh wells, all my videos of my favorite country girl artist Carrie Underwood is un useful now~ boo~ live and learn!

    thanks!

FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT FROM THE CANON SITES AND REVIEWS MOST OF THESE FUNCTIONS ARE CONTROLLED IN THE PLAYBACK MODE MENU. THEY CLAIM THERE ARE MANY SETTINGS THERE THAT ONE CAN SET TO ACCESS PHOTO'S BY EVERY 10TH PHOTO,SO THAT WOULD MEAN YOU WOULD SEE LIKE 1,10,20,30,40,50 ETC IN RAPID ORDER. THIS SEEMS TO BE WHAT YOUR CAMERA IS DOING. I'M NOT THERE WITH YOUR CAMERA, BUT DOES THIS SOUND LIKE WHAT IT IS DOING? IF IT DOES, THEY SAY YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO SET IT TO SHOW ONLY ONE BY ONE ORDER. THIS WOULD SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM,RIGHT? IF THIS ISN'T WHAT YOU THINK YOUR CAMERA IS DOING REPLY TO ARCLIGHT1217 AND I'LL SEE IF I CAN FIND MORE INFO IN THEIR REVIEWS. GOOD LUCK! LET ME KNOW HOW YOU COME OUT WITH RESETTING THE MENU.

I just dropped my Canon SD750 and now it won't turn on. Is there a reset button?....or am I out of luck?

I had a Cannon EasyShare CX7000 many years ago, had the same problem exactly, Canon cameras are not that durable when it comes to dropping it, but I have a Cannon Powershot SD1000 and I have dropped it numerous times and it still functions like it's new. three words REPLACE YOUR CAMERA. oh, and there is no reset button, you are out of luck

How to adjust the working so the memory is kept at minimum?

Video files are heavy files.

One way is to reduce the resolution. Secondly, try to take smaller shots of 45 sec etc and then later join/edit them to form a bigger video.
If you intend to take a lot of video clips and that also long ones(like 9 min etc) then this is not the camera for you. You must then buy a proper video camera.

Check to see if you have a foreign substance on the contactor in the camera.

Video too fast during playback on my Camera

I have a Powershot SD1000 and it should be similar.
When the video plays very fast it was probably filmed in Timelapse mode( which fast- forwards the video) When you are in video mode press the SET Button and set the camera to Standard mode
