Exhaust interchangeable Is all harley davidson fat boy exhaust interchangeable?

Look down at the bottom of the frame behind the exhaust pipes. There is a large hose that runs down that way with a plug in it. Harley moved the drain plug to a crossmember underneath the frame. The plug screws upwards into the crossmember.

I doubt it. The Fat Boy is a member of the Softail family. In 1999, the Softails were running Evolution engines. They didnt' go to the TC-88B engine until 2000 and that required a frame change. I don't think it will fit but you never really know until you try it.

I think so as long as the engine size is the same. I'm not sure that Evo pipes will fit onto a TwinCam. I bought a pair of Screaming Eagle Slash Cut and they bolted right up no problem. Easy instal
