Question about Broksonic TV
This tv was working fine 1 day and the next day it would not come on.
Is there a anything we can do? We took it to be repaired and they said
they could not repair it. We purchased this tv 4 years ago and it is a flat screen.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: I have a Broksonic Model
It sounds like you are missing the luminance drive to the CRT board or the voltage that is provided to amplify the signal. The reason you get a good on screen display is that it is it is fed from aseperate circuit and you get some images because the chrominance signal is still being supplied. The video signal is made up of these two component- luminance and chroma. You usually need an oscilliscope to troubleshoot.
