Open gas cap and turn key forward and listen for the fuel pump hissing noise. If its not there the fuel pump is out. (OPTION) Take heavy object like a club or tire Iron and bang plastic fuel tank in the middle. Several blows will be required. The idea is to shock your fuel pump into working. If it works then get it to a repair shop because It most likely will die again.

Since you replaced the distributor, are you sure it's properly timed? Hook up timing light and try to crank. It should show you where your timing mark is. It will also verify that you are getting spark.
You need to start a systematic check. Is it electrical, mechanical, fuel related? Need to do more checking and maybe we can get that puppy going.

Good Luck

SOURCE: van won't start, maybe fuel pump, where is it

You will need to find a junction box in the engine compartment where some fuses will be located. There should also be some relays in the fuse block. Under the cover should be listing of where relay is located. you can jump a sire across the pins in or to see if fuel pump runs. If it does then the problem is at the relay. If it doen't, problem is at the fuel pump. Problem with that is that the fuel pump is in the tank and the tank will need to be dropped in order to get to it. Good Luck

How do I fix a 2004 Chevy Malibu wont start

The logical thought on this would be to ask if you changed the filter, also if the pump is electric and in the tank, was the strainer changed? If EFI have you checked fuel flow before and after the fuel pressure regulator? Can you hear the pump running? Did you check the fuse for the fuel pump?
I'd start by making sure the pump has voltage, then disconnect the fuel line before the filter and see if there's any fuel in the line. Then have someone just turn the ignition on momentarily to see of the pump is pumping. If it isn't you still have an issue with the pump. Finally, if you have an in tank pump, and have installed an external line pump to save bucks, this doesn't always work because there are check valves in some internal tank pumps that prevent fuel flow.

Car died in front of house, would crank, but not start...fuel pump has been buzzing for a while so i assumed it went out, replaced pump & filter, sadly cant get it to start. checked all fuses, relays...

No pressure at fuel rail either mean a clog in the fuel lines or filter...or a failed or incorrectly installed pump. If you have voltage at the pump when you are cranking the engine over recheck pump and fuel filter. also try applying shop are to the fuel lines when disconnecting at pump and fuel rail to clear any clogs.

Cant get gas to injecters 2000 ford windstar it was 5 out last night and 25 out today weve been having problems getting it to start for the last 2 weeks

Disconnect your supply lines to the cylinders. Try starting the car while someone watches the disconnected lines. If fuel pumps from the lines you need to have your injectors cleaned or replaced. More likely it is your fuel pump that has gone bad. If you dont see any fuel flowing from the disconnected fuel lines, try replacing your fuel pump and replace your fuel filter too just to be prevent pushing any dirt and sediment from a dirty filter into a new pump.
