Use a temporary external USB mouse, Click Start button from your laptop. Type "mouse" in Search Program & Files, click mouse under control panel. click Hardware tab, click properties, click change settings, click driver tab, check if the device is enable or click update diver or rollback driver if necessary.
You should be able to unlock the touchpad by pressing the Fn button and while holding it down press the F6 button once and release both.
If this doesn't work go to Control Panel and Device Manager and check that the drivers are installed and the device enabled.
If these don't work you probably need to re-install the drivers.
Cheers
Go the Device Manager under Control Panel and make sure it is not disabled. Right click and select enable. If you see a yellow exclamation mark next to it means the driver has not been installed and you will have to download and install it.
DO these Series of steps: 1. control panel2. hardware and sound3. then under Devices and printer you gonna see Device Manager4.click on it5. look for your touch pad and enable it. if this does not work then go to manufacturers website and download the driver for your touch pad. Hope this was helpful : )
Try to go to control panel and then click mouse icon, then go to touchpad properties..Enable it from there. If it does not work, then update you chipset drivers. Go to shopfujitsu.com scroll down click download. Put in your Model and series numbers then look for the chipset drivers.
there is a key combination that enables/disables the touch pad. it's the Fn key + the function key that shows a little mouse icon in blue at the top of your keyboard. on Fujitsu this would be Fn+F6 for instance. if this doesn't work, it is possible that the touch pad has been turned off in the BIOS setup. you will have to enter the BIOS and enable or automate the "internal pointing device"
