Who can help me fix the compatability issue between my Grundig Elegance HDTV and my PS3

If you have sound then it is probably a high voltage problem.

there may be something wrong with a cord that is conected to the device

Make a hard reset to this set first and check. If it do not help you, replace in main system memory IC. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. It will make search easy. mine does the same thing

Ive got a similar problem. My HDTV has a compatibility issue with the ps3 and whenever I enter a game or switch resolutions TV starts flashing between dotted white screen and ps3 screen. I have to remove the HDMI cable and then put it in again in order to fix it. (Or if you are rich just get another HDTV :D)
I would try it in another HDTV (different model and brand) to discard it being a problem with the HDMI port.
