DT1355-CAR locked My sons Lightning McQueen tv is on childlock and I don't have a remote. How can I reset it without the remote?

since most of the disney TVs are manufactured by memorex company ..... from your universal remote control's manual check the codes for memorex brand & try it .... if you don't have manual for your universal remote then from this link http://www.remotecentral.com/features/remotes.htm identify your universal remote & in that check codes for memorex brand & try it .... while searching answer for your question i have found that many people have same problem that is code for universal remote ..... but they never got right answer ......... & also neither same original remote control nor equivalent remote control is available (spare ) ...... so in case if you don't get right code then consider selling of this TV & buying new tv ...........

No,these tvs are spacially made for the Disney Corporation for awhile.The tvs are not in the market anymore.The tvs are in cheaply prices poorly made is was a fad,so no recall.Most of these tv used last like 2 or 3 years,than have problem or completely dead not worth the priced go get it fixed.

I called the custoner service number 1-866-387-1902 & the parental lock code is 1369. I had the same problem and this worked for me. Good luck. This parental code is for all disney tv, dvd combos.

unplug it for and hour or two and plug it back in
usually this will reset the tv's settings and the child lock will be turned off.
