You are better off using the correct value, the switch mode supply runs a very tight frequency and any alterations can defeat the purpose.

I replace 820mf/25 with 1000mf/25 these wil work

You need to replace all of the capacitors on the power supply board and you also need to be sure to use the correct series of capacitors. Parts from Radio Shack will not work right, you need to use low ESR, High temp and high ripple current parts. Here is a link to more information about getting the correct parts for the repair

My notebook not starting, whenever i press power button no screen display arrive, only HDD light blow and than laptop automatically turn off. my warranty period has laps.

1. Take the battery out of the laptop & try to turn on the laptop using power adapter only. If the computer turns on, then the battery is defective & needs to be replaced.
2. Make sure the power adapter is not defective. Test the output voltage of the power adapter using a voltmeter. Compare the voltmeter reading to the nominal value written on the adapter or the laptop.
3. If you have another processor which is compatible with your laptop's model, try swapping processors & test to see if the laptop will work.
4. The motherboard could be defective & needs to be replaced.

How can I turn down the power on the FL50 to get more flashes. Can you turn down the power on the camera E510 with hte FL50 attatched?

the user manual is here http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/imsg/digicamera/download/manual/accessories/man_fl50_e.pdf
Have a look at page 46 TTL Auto mode - you can adjust the variable between power setting - + or - 3 stops Page 48 gives full details on adjusting this setting
Light intensity adjustment
  • The flash light intensity can be adjusted between +3 and –3.
  • The light intensity adjustment must be set to ON in the custom setup operation (page 61). • The indicator appears in the control panel.
  1. Turn dial B to select a light intensity adjustment value in the following steps. (This selection is also possible with dial A.)
  • 0 → +0.3 → +0.7→ +1.0 ... +3.0
  • 0 → –0.3 → –0.7→ –1.0 ... –3.0
  1. The display shows the light intensity adjustment value except when the value is 0, in which case the display does not show the light control range.
  2. If the camera’s flash adjustment mode is selected, the actual flash light intensity will be the total of the light intensity adjustment value set on the FL-50 and that set on the camera. The light intensity adjustment value displayed is that of the FL-50 only.

I replaced the shuttle and need to do the phasing adjustment. Can you tell me how?

IMPORTANT The printer must be printing the Phase pattern of “H’s” when the Phasing Value is changed, or the New Phasing Value will not be written into NVRAM. If the value is changed when not printing, the printer will return to its default phasing
value when powered off then back on.
1. Install the ribbon.
2. Load full width (136 column) paper.
3. Power on the printer and set top of form.
4. Press Stop to put the printer into NOT READY mode.
5. Press Scroll + Scroll to unlock the Enter key.
6. Press Scroll + Scroll + Return + Enter to enter the CE Tests menu. (Press all four keys at the same time.)
7. The display will show “SERVICE / PRINTER MECHANISM TESTS”, the first menu item. Press Enter to enter the
mechanism tests menu.
8. Press Scrollor Scrolluntil
“PRINTER MECHANISM TESTS / HAMMER PHASING” is on the display.
9. Press Enter. The printer begins printing all H’s, each line preceded by the phasing index number.
10. Press Return. The display will show
“SERVICE / PRINTER MECHANISM TESTS”.
11. Press Scroll or Scroll until “SERVICE / HAMMER PHASE VALUE” is on the display.
12. Press Enter. The top line of the display will show
“HAMMER PHASE VALUE” and the bottom line will show the current phasing index number.
13. Press Enter. The phasing index (followed by an asterisk) will move up to the top line of the display.
14. Press Scroll or Scroll to increase or decrease the phasing index, then press Enter to activate the value as it prints.
Continue to increase or decrease the phasing index until the pattern of H’s appears.

15. When the print pattern is acceptable, press Stop. Printing stops, and the printer automatically enters the current phase
index value into NVRAM. The display shows “NOT READY”.
16. Press Scroll + Scroll to lock the Enter key.
17. Close the printer cover. Press Start to put the printer into READY mode.
NOTE: If you changed the phasing value, power down the printer, remove the shuttle cover, and write the new phase value on
the aluminum shuttle casting.

Syncmaster 740n blinking blue power light + Dell lcd situation

There are two reasons why capacitor blow up is higher voltage than it can take or higher temperature than the mark on the capacitor. When I repair psu I always change ALL capacitors, primary and secondary section.Bad capacitor in primary section is usually reason for overvoltage in secondary.Fuse is in power line of 820mF.As I remember they are paralel connected so follow +line back to the diode. There is a small green component looks like resistor betwen diode and capacitors.
Same thing is with other two monitors princip is the same.
