Ours is doing the same thing. I thought at first it just needed cleaning, but I put vinegar solution in it overnight, and it didn't help. Also, I took the charcoal filter out & that didn't help either. I think maybe it needs to be sent in for repairs.

We have the same problem. We ommited the filter in the water reservoir a while back so I thought that it is clogged, or  pump is done..possibly.

I have the same problem. Was fine until I turned it upside down to read the serial number when I called customer support about getting new rubber gaskets for the feet. No gaskets available - I added some cork circles which solved that problem. But then the water wouldn't feed thru the coffeemaker. But I've turned it upside down before when I accidentally put too much water in the reservoir so I doubt that's the problem. Still turns on and grinds and waits a minute or two then stops as if the cycle is complete. I left vinegar in it overnight and nothing helped. The support hotline also said I probably need to replace it.

You have not missed anything. Unplugging for longer than 16 minutes (has 15-minute memory) is the only troubleshooting you can perform. Call Cuisinart to find out if you are still in warranty. All electronics have a failure rate. Cuisinart's is acceptably low, but their coffee makers are the least reliable of all their products. The basic problem with electronic coffee makers is that coffee makers produce high heat, and high heat kills electronics and melts plastic. At least Cuisinart has a 3-year warranty - higher than the industry standard.

Let me put it another way. All coffee makers have a high failure rate. As many Cuisinart coffee makers that break down, the non-Grind-and-Brews still have a 91 rating from Consumer Reports. Consumer Reports doesn't give ANYTHING a 91 rating. A lot break, but you probably won't fare much better by switching to a different brand. The problem with a Cuisinart breaking down is that an expensive unit broke down - you wouldn't be upset if your $15 Mr. Coffee broke every year. The law of averages is on your side - a 2nd Cuisinart will probably last longer.

What can I do to have the Ready to Brew light come on? I tried to slowly pour in water and fill water tank but doesnt work.

Be sure spray disk and brew gasket are properly installed in the
brew head.

Be sure the water supply is properly connected and the water
supply valve is turned
ON

Be sure the WATER TANK IS FILLED
BEFORE plugging the brewer into a receptacle, or otherwise
connecting brewer to electrical power
THE WATER TANK MUST BE FILLED

Place an empty decanter under the brew head. Lift
the pour-over cover then pour warm tap water into the pour-over
opening until water flows from the brew head. When water stops
dripping from the brew head, empty the container.

Once the tank is full of water,
connect the brewer to electrical
power. The heating elements will begin heating the water in the
tank.
When the water has reached the proper temperature, the
"READY To BREW" light will glow. http://www.cdccoffee.com/pdf/bloomfield-8571-8572-user-manual.pdf

Saeco vienna Deluxe grinder doesn't work properly

Hi,

Try to open the steam knob and make a cup of water.
Make sure everything is in place.

One more thing you can try is:
open the door, take out the brewing unit, driptray and dregsbox.
Look in the machine and you will see three hole, one in the lower left corner, one in the middle above the driving shaft and one in the right upper corner.
Turn on the machine and put a screwdriver in each hole and see if the lights go off.

Hope this will help you.

Hi,

You have to take of the top, there are several screw to loosen.

  3. loosen the two screw in front where the dregbox and driptray was ( one in each corner)
  4. Take of the plastic adjustment in the right corner (grinder adjustment)

Coffee maker beeping

Is your grinder in and the lid down? My coffee maker (grind & brew) started beeping after I cleaned it and turned the left knob clockwise with the grinder still disassembled. There's a little button that is depressed when you close the lid with the grinder in there (I'd guess it's a safety feature). I pressed down that button, and the beeping went away.

Flashing water light - will drain water but will not make coffee

Something is wrong on the coffee cycle side of the machine. Check the brew unit screens and and try doing a preground cycle with out inserting coffee. IF water comes out, I would looking into your grinder a little bit and try increasing the grinder size.

No coffee coming out of the machine!

First step, increase the grinder size. Note: only change grinder setting while the grinder is spinning. If that does not work, look into cleaning your brew group screens. The machine should have came with a key to remove the screen. If your machine as a preground option try making a preground coffee without inserting coffee to see if only water will come out. If water comes out then you know its your grinder. Usually too small of grinder sizes will stop water flow.
