The 110 may work but you should always go back with the STK392-120 and also there are 12 6>8 ohm resistors that will need to be possibly replaced at least two will blow anytime an IC fails in that chassis so replacing the two ICs alone will most likely not fix the issue without the resistors being checked and replaced if any of the 12 are blown

HI
First when relpaceing the IC's make sure you use heatsink compound or the Ic will over heat due to them not transferring the heat to the heatsink causing premature failure. This is the white substance on the IC's. The STK392-120 are the best ones to use, any higher then this, yes you will have to change alot of resistors in the convergence.

Im looking for a projection alighment chip for 60pp9202/17f phillips

you will require two of the STK392-120 Convergence ICs and possibly the 6.8 ohm resistors. The Phillips DPTV305 - DPTV335 convergence repair kit available from www.tvrepairworld.com has the two ICs and the 12 resistors plus the CD with repair instructions.

Red blue and green lines on top on phillips hdtv. What can I do to fix it.

1.) This sounds like a convergence problem--with the original remote go into the customer menu and select convergence--see if red or blue will not move in some direction.

2.) If some color (red or blue) will not move in some direction--you need to replace both of the STK-392-120 CONVERGENCE IC'S THAT THIS SET USES along with any of the green 6.8 ohm resistors around them that are discolored(bad).

3.) With the back cover removed the chips are on the left large board on two metal heat sinks with fins--they are black and about 2 1/2 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall and the STK-392-120 is printed on the face of them in white. The resistors are in front of the one near to the front of the circuit board and left to right around several plugs there(convergence yokes).

4.) You can buy both chips on Ebay for about 13 dollars plus shipping; If you are able to do this repair you can save a lot of money---after the chips and or resistors are replaced you need to go into the Convergence Tech mode(I can tell you how to access it) and adjust the convergence in first the regular non Hd and then in the Hd.

5.) Most shops TRY to charge 300-400 for this kind of repair--I have done hundreds of them here for 200-250.

6.) If you are not able to do this repair shop around your area for someone who can do it---if a shop says "It has to go to the shop" keep looking----any good tech can do this repair in your home in about 1 hour.

7.) If you have any questions or need advice reply to this posting.

I do this here for free so if this information has been helpful please take a minute and give me a vote here-----I am here to help people.

55'' rear projection Phillips (dptv335) Red Tint in 4:3 area

Sounds like your fluid in the CRT's need replaced. I would recommend a servicer take care of that problem. The corrosion that ethylene glycol can do to components is vast if you spill it on any of the PC boards. ( You know it as Anti-freeze ). Play it safe---Make a Call.!

WD 500 GB resized by Norton Ghost Restore to 120 GB and can not get it to original size.

You should partition your new drive first to say 160Gb (you lose a bit after formatting) for 1st partition and the remaining capacity for the 2nd partition. Because your Ghost image is 120Gb it can only restore to a partition of 120Gb, that is why it shows 120Gb on a 500Gb on a single partition.
You may be able to fix this problem without starting again by using Disk Manager (from Control Panel - Admoinistrative Tools) to create a 2nd partition on the hard drive and format this partition.

convergence i.c.s change both of them even if only one color is out. if one is bad the other is usually going to give out soon. the part # should be. stk 392-120. also check resistors around i.c.s if the open you wont be able to adjust convergence.

You need to replace both convergence ICs they are STK392-120 this is an easy repair that you can do yourself and save yourself around 400.00 for about 45 minutes work. You can order the new ICs at the following link and they provide free installation instructions with pictures and also free online support with a support tech while you do the repair. I am one of their support techs. You would also want to order at least 4 convergence resistors and they send the proper ones for your model as often a couple resistors go. Your model uses 6.8ohm 2watt 5% metal film resistors. So to recap you will need (2) STK392-120 Convergence ICs and (4) Convergence ICs . very inexspensive repair if you do it yourself. here is the link.

Phillips 43pp92 0217

Sorry to bother you again but I did some research and the chip numbers are STK 392-120 but using STK 392-180 is recommended replacement. If the picture is bowed or skewed any at all then the chips are needed replace both and check if any 6.8 ohm resistors are burned or open. Resistors Can be measured out of circuit with a digital volt-ohm meter. Have you tried the consumer menu and located the convergence adjustments? If it only need touch up you should go there. And the numbers I gave you 062597 must be followed with pressing the status button on the original remote. this goes into the service menu and adjustment to convergence can be made there also if touch up is needed or after you replace the chips Hope this helps
