My machine quit running at full power and sometimes not at all. I took it in and the technician said it was bad power. It worked fine at the repair shop. At home, it would not. I tried it at another house and it didn't run. Suggestions!

You may need to take off the housing that covers the whole dog mechanism. You will need a screwdriver to do this. Blow out the area around the tension gears and dogs, check for loose or disconnedted parts, and re-oil the gears. Fleece fuzz usually collects where you can't see it. This was the problem with my machine that had the same symptom.

Without the proper tools and some knowledge of how to disassemble this machine it is best to let a Pfaff service tech handle this problem.
