I got in my jeep the other day and tried to eject the cd in my cd player and it wont eject. When i push the eject button it comes up eject on the display but doesnt stay on as long as usual and it makes no noise. I looked in the manual and it does say anything about this problem only that there is a cd lock feature which i tried both ways and it still wont eject.
I was having the same issue with my KD-S5050. I also tried the CD eject lock reset with no results. By using the following steps I was able to reset my CD player and it is working properly again.
On page two of the user manual is shows how to do a full reset of the cd receiver.
While holding SEL (Select), press ATT (Standby/On Attenuator) for more than 2 seconds. This will reset the built-in microcomputer.
NOTES: ? Your preset adjustments ? such as preset channels or sound adjustments ? will also be erased. ? If a CD is in the unit, it will eject when you reset the unit. Be careful not to drop the CD.

A trick I've used several times is to hit the eject button and take another CD, put it in about 1/3 of the way, push down on the CD that's stuck inside while pulling forward, all of this while the deck is trying to eject will usually get a stubborn CD out.
please observe when you push the eject button display applys the open or eject cd?.if yes something wrong with your mechanisum.it has several microswitches and bad contact of them occur this type problem.sometime loading mechanisum stuck because of loose belts.open the cover of your cd player and check cairfully.
come back with results.
If it's trying to eject you may need to use a small screwwdriver to lift up on the CD. This works when mine hangs up. If it's not trying to eject at all, then the little motor on the ejecting mechanism may have failed or come off track. I had to replace the original CD player about a year ago because of this. That's why I have the JVC now, and it seems that CD's started hanging up from day one with this radio.
If your problem is with new cd's your trying to play then the try this. New cd's often have around the inner and outter edges and if such disc is used, this may be the reason why it wont play. What you do is take a pencil and use the side of the pencil to rub the edges of the cd. It should clear it up. Now if your problem if that it wont let the cd come out the only thing i can think of is to press and hold the EJECT button and CD button at the same time for more than two seconds. Good Luck =)
Both times that a cd has become stuck in the player I simultaneously pushed the power and eject buttons. I came across this solution in the owner's manual and it worked perfectly both times I have had to do it.
I installed a dual xdm7510 reciver in my car and it worked fine for a day but now it will not play anything. Sometimes it will play and sometimes it will just eject any cd that I put in it. write me at firstname.lastname@example.org
