Question about RCA 27F530T 27" TV

1 Answer

RCA 35" Home Theatre

I am an owner of an 35" color tv and the picture goes fuzzy and buzzes with a loud noise for a few minutes into the show, this continues to happen as long as he tv is on. I can wiggle or hold the antenna connection or the antenna wire in the back and the picture clears right up, once I release either the tv starts to mess up again. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Cassie Lard

Re: RCA 35" Home Theatre

You have diagnossed the problem by moving the antenna imput, the problem might be a loose conection in the tuner itself, the grounds ussually get loose and need to be resoldered,if you are familiar with tv service you can resolder all the pins and grounds, there is another possibilty and that is the conector itself where the antenna screws is loose and it has broken the solder conection inside the tuner and the will have to be taken apart and resolder, the conector has to be solid .You have an option and is using the aux,1 or 2 and coneting you vcr to either one those imputs then you will need to change the channels thru the vcr, this way you will not have to worry about the tuner.Let Us know how it goes or if you need more information.

It sounds like a bad internal connection or a component failing. If the picture still is very good take it to a known good repair shop.

# 1 above you have covergence problems ,there is a service flash from rca to fix your fault, ask your tv shop. fault # 2 above turn off the color and adjust your screen settings for a grey picture, set brightness and contrast to middle settings. # 3 fault read #1 cause if your auto focus will not correct you require service there is a harness connector that looses connection and causes several fualts on the 52" rca's you can repair the fault but if you miss the harness replacement you will do it again.
