Question about Philips Magnavox TS3260C 32" TV
The set is missing a voltage in the crt board,a resistor with a value of 51 ohm has opened for no reason ,all you need to do is change this resistor and is all is going to take,if you are familiar with tv service you can unplug the set and remove the back cover,in the neck of the picture tube you will see the crt board ,look for R56 and he should measure 51 ohms and its color code is blue/brown/black and is 1/2 watt,it needs to be replaced with an exact replacement. You dont need to remove the board from the tube ,if you do make sure you pull straight back and dont twist the board or some of the pins might break and then we will have a big problem. If you are not too familiar with tv service you should call for assistance from a servicer,it should not be expensive.Let Us know if you need more information.
