Well
I'm still looking for a Scarabeo 200. I'm in the SF Bay Area. Funny thing happened at a restuarant the other night a gent pulls up riding a 4 year old Aprilia Atlantic 200. I expressed interest in scooters and the next thing out of him was Want to buy it? Short story is that it has 5000 miles on it. He's the original owner. Said he's done all the service himself, which after quizzing him about it further amounted to changing the oil every 1,000 miles. No problems, just wanted to buy a new scooter. His asking price was $3500. Kelly Blue Book rates a 2004 Atlantic to be worth $1800, so his price seems very inflated. Plus the fact that a brand new Scarabeo 200 can be had for $3399 plus tax and prep. Would a fair counter-offer be $1800?,yes possibly soo ..lemme ask you youre obviously not trying to fly under dmv radar lookin at over 50 cc bikes. why you wanna stay so small why not 4-500 cc near same mileage when not beating on it and plenty of power when needed? btw.... i paid 2000 $ us for a o3 beo 150, 7 months or so ago i couldnt find one anywhere without piles for shipping/delivery and mine was 1 owner under 2800 miles and twas in near mint cond adult owned..ive this thing about buyin new vehicles .. and isnt the atlantic a lil wheel scoot like 13-14 on it ??,,,
