Question about Evga Graphics Cards

1 Answer

Gforce 8600 GT(512M)

One backside chip is broken. It seem that chip is p05-50gcp. Brand is EoN or EaN. Because the number is so small and not clear I am not very sure the number. Who know this? Where I can buy it? Can I use other chip to replace it if I can't buy the same mode? Thank you.

Greetings!
Yes you can buy it to any computer stores or electronic stores, bring the graphics cards, so they repair it, they have also other chip that has the same specifications and functions.
Thank you.

Gt nvidia 512 ddr3 graphic card not detected by my mother bord

If I were you I'd try to insert another geaphics card in the mobo, if it does detect that one the graphics card is broken, if it doesn't try updating bios.
If that doesn't help either, the mobo has failed.

You can try to contact the manufacturer of the broken art, see if they have any tips, but I guess broken is broken.

Sorry,
Yannick.

GeForce 8600 GT 256MB DDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card doesn't work

contact the shop / place you purchased it from and they should be able to give you info of where to send it and what to do - they should have a section on there website where you can go through the return process and you will most likely need to get an RMA number to authorise the return / replacement.

Evga 8600 gt broken

It is probably cheaper and less time consuming to replace the actual video card. Many manufacturers sell only finished products and you will not be able to use a different chip or it will cause problems.

I hope this helps.

Hello, Problem with 8600 GT egeforce graphics card

Sounds like the card is defective or your power supply is not hefty enough to drive the new card. Also check that the card is seated fully.

Slowing down suddenly when gaming

Hi rajiv2612.
Suggest you check for any software update's from GeForce for you're 8600 GT. Also check for any software patches for the game (s). (Include windows update service as well).
The normal stuff like running windows system defrag & disk cleanup utilities should be run once a month for gamers.
Lastly, if you feel heat may be an issue. Open the PC case & leave opened while playing the game that seems to slow down the most. If the game does not slow down (After checking & updating all of the above), than maybe you need to add a 3" fan to the case, so fresh air blows directly onto the 8600 GT.

Good Luck!

Mike
