When I turn on my t.v. I have to "warm it up" for about 5 to 15 minutes before I can watch it. The screen has horizontal scrolling and fuzz for about 5 to 15 mins. until it corrects itself or sometimes I have to turn it on and off again. However, the problem seems to be getting worse. Best Buy has been here twice to "fit it" and says nothing is wrong with it. Can you help?

Back-light inverter fault. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Surf the site in "MOSAIC" view. It will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
This could be in the main processor board, or in the display substrate itself. The service rep would test by trying out boards until he gets to the fault. After board replacement he would check any recommended calibrations, and then return the set to the customer. If the set is more than a few years old, it may not be possible have new boards.
1. Hold [menu] and [vol-] button on the side of the TV 2. while holding these, press the [power] button on the side of TV (NOT remote) 3. blue light comes ON and stays ON 4. wait 10 seconds then let go of [menu] and [vol-] 5. wait another 30 seconds and some type of picture should appear
I think this is right. I got it from the JVC call centers guys so sorry if I missed or messed up a step.
I have the same problem. I finally convinced JVC's tech support to help me out (they **** by the way) and I got the schematics for all the boards in the unit. From looking at them I believe it is the Digital Signal Board. I will post results soon.
