Question about Frigidaire Microwave Ovens
Frigidare FMT148G1W1 control panel too dim to read in any kind of light. Is there a resistor or transformer tap I can change to brighten the characters in the display? Reseated all connectors on circuit board, inspected board for cold solder joints, swollen or damaged components, nothing found. Is the schematic for the control panel available anywhere?
Removed the amber glass which obscures the display enough to remove the wiring from view. This also allows you to see the characters much more clearly. You now can see the inidvidual light elements.
It's not too bad, people don't even notice, but they do notice you can now tell the time and see what the oven is doing.
