What? So you can boot and use it but it keeps beeping?
It sounds like it's complaining about the power adapter or battery. Try running without the battery (on the AC adapter) or replacing the battery (recycle the old one).
If it persists, try reinstalling Lenovo's power management software, double-check BIOS settings, etc. and see if that sets things right.

X6dh8-g2+ no video continous beep

Hello here is the homepage:

http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/xeon800/E7520/X6DH8-G2.cfm

Try to boot with only one stick of ram at the time, to find the failing ram module.

This is usually caused by a problem with the system memory, or possibly the video card. The memory is more likely--the system complains long and loud sound, if it can't find any usable memory, as there is no way to even start the boot process when this is the case. The motherboard itself could also be the problem.

The mainboard is useing Up to 16GB DDR2 RAM.

Try not to buy cheap ram, they are always failing.

Good luck

My computer always makes beeps sounds when i boot it up

Hi Daniel,

every computer has certain beep codes that indicate problems during the boot process. These codes are different from each manufacturer. You didn't mention which computer you are having, so I can't send you a solution. The best way is to search i.e. "HP beep codes" or "Dell9150 beep codes".

Let me know if you have any question.
Good luck!

I have a dell inspiron 1464 laptop i3 processor n windows 7. when i turn it on it makes beep beep sound with nothing on screen totally black screen. what is the problem

there are a few possible issues with the unit. it is definitely a hardware failure. 2 tips the beep indicate 2 different issues:

1. long beeps may indicate an issue with the motherboard.
2. short beeps that is continous as if saying sos is for the memory card

either way you would need to have your laptop serviced since it is already a black screen.

the vga board has failed, its a very common problem in acer laptops, you can get a replacement part from www.acerparts.com im not sure if they ship into us but for europe thats where I get my parts.
my acers vga failed two times, ones within warranty and 12months after that, I have to say that acer products are really bad quality, I'm not sure about the latest models but from what I've seen the vga chipsets have real issues with the motherboards and keep failing over and over again.

I have not looked inside your model but the vga is either integrated into the motherboard = that means the repair will cost the whole motherboard, better to buy a new one.

if your model has a removeable vga like mine does, then you can consider changeing it to a new one. contact acer parts.

One of the covers in the bottom is the memory, one is network and last one I don't remember.
here are the contact details if your acer is out of warranty
http://www.acerparts.com/contact_us.php

The parts for your model are at http://www.acerparts.com/index.php?cPath=561_562_1064

you will have to contact acer parts directly, it may be that the vga is build into the motherboard or then the vga parts are not listed.

Hope this may help;

Beeping with no boot up

Beep codes mean something has gone wrong with the computer. Beep codes most likely happen for: Memory, Processor, Motherboard.

Try reseating the memory in the computer.

I have a presario compaq v3230AU lap top that does not boot.the power turns on but the screen remains blank.wat could be the problem.please advice

Hi there. It would help if you provided more info regarding your problem. The follwing would be good startpoints:

1. What was the last time you were able to do with the laptop?
2. Have you made changes [immediately] before the issue started happening?
3. How old is the PC?
4. What are its specifications (ie.CPU speed, memory type and size, OS, etc.)
5. Have you experienced this same problem before using the same computer, or on another computer?

Well, here's a shot in the dark. If the unit is, say more than 5 years old, it's probably a hardware defect. Meaning your unit's screen display data connection is already out of order. This usually happends to laptops with data connections too compactly embedded between the hinge of the laptop lid and chassis.
