    Old Marine.
    Thanks, for the quick reply.

I downloaded and installed the scanner driver but Photoshop CS3 did recognize it.  I don't think that
this driver version for the n650u is updated enough for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

    Thanks!

Correction:  Photoshop CS3 did NOT recognize it.

CanonPI CS-U 3.8X scanner driver is the version I installed.

    Thanks for trying.

Drivers for CanoScan N650U available here, including for Mac OS X.

According to the FAQs for this scanner at this link, the N650U is not supported in OS X 10.5. Your original question was in regards to OS X 10.3 or higher, and this scanner is supported in 10.3x and 10.4x. Sorry about that. I don't know of anywhere else you could look to find an appropriate driver.

I need to download driver for canon BJC S400 printer for windows 7, how can I do it?

I do not think that your printer will work with Windows 7, many printers and most scanners do not work on later OS. Fortunately a new printer is not too expensive, consider one with network capability, so more users can access all of the functions.
Here is the drivers site for Canon and I do not see 7 listed, so likely not able to run under 7.... http://www.canon.ca/inetCA/serviceDetail?m=load&id=3&sid=18&mid=2000060&type=D&opt=1

I bought a new computer window vista and i have a flat bed scanner from canon a n650u/n656u and it worked fine with my windows xp but i need an up date driver for it to work with vista can you help me

According to Canon, the CanoScan N650u/N656U is not compatible with Windows Vista.  They have not released a compatible driver.  You could attempt to use a different driver, but that causes the system to become unstable and crash often, if it works at all.  I recommend upgrading to a Vista-compatible scanner.

I just downloaded "VueScan" for my 10.5.4 Intel Mac and the demo is working great with my Canoscan N1220U.
