You'll need to replace your keyboard. Alternatively, you can try rinsing your keyboard out in distilled water and letting it dry for 72 hours before using it, but since keyboards are only $5, it's not really worth the hassle unless you have one of those very expensive ones :c)

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

Looks as if you have activated the FN-F8 on the keyboard, following letters won't work if you do: mjkluio789
If not, try a can of compressed air, and clean the keyboard ;)

How do you get the letter p on the keyboard on eee pc

If all the letters on the keyboard work except one, then you have two choices:
1) Take the keyboard apart and clean it.
2) Buy a new keyboard.

Some keys giving double letters cant enter password for windows

Good morning! possible that some of the keys (/letters) terminal point of your keyboard were locked/stucked-up during your cleaning. I suggest to use another keyboard then check the status of the keyboard if it is working properly thru Device Manager. best regards

New cd rom doesn't work

Have any you added any drives to your computer recently? If so you'll have to check the jumper settings on your drives. If nothing has changed to your computer between the time it was working and when it stopped then you most likely have a dead drive.

But since you say the device manager sees your drive you'll need to go into your administrator tools in the control panel and select computer management. Under storage select drive management. If you see your drive listed but has no drive letter you can right-click the drive and assign a drive letter. The change should be immediate.

Since you bought it before Christmas, I don't think Walmart will want to return it for you. I would recommend that you contact iConcepts... which is actually Sakar.. here's the link to what I think is your keyboard -- if it's not the right keyboard duo, just look over to the left on that page and navigate to it.. there's a 1yr warranty on it so they should do something to help you...
