Hello why do I have a loud buzzing noise coming from my umc combination 21 inch television so bad you cannot here program dialogue ?

You need to send your TV Model first, but in general any strange sounds in a TV come from the followings:
1- High ripple in the power supply of the sound card.
2- Bad polarized capacitors in the sound card
3- High noise in the main power supply (SMPS)
4- For CRT tv, weak insulation of the Line Transformer
5- An external source near your TV set which is picked by your TV and amplified.

My GPX tv/dvd combo is making an intermitent 'buzzing' sound, anyone know how to fix it?

Is the sound coming from the speakers? (do you hear it with the sound turned off)

Either an audio problem if heard only with sound up or if a buzz with sound off it is a coil or transformer on the circuit board vibrating hard enough to produce the noise.

Both are fixable but require different tactics to resolve.

My DVD player will not play a DVD and it makes a buzzing noise when I insert a DVD.

My device was also buzzing until I realized that I was plugging my headphones into the video port. When I disconnected and plugged into the headphone port, everything was fine

Ur high voltage is dead,FBT,the flyback transformer is dead, the block of plastic with a red wire with a cap hook to a CRT(tv tube).

A piercing high pitched buzzing noise when on. The sound volumne does not affect the buzzing. Always very loud.

You didn't post a model number but if this is a CRT TV (non-flat screen) the noise may be coming from the high voltage circuit and may be a warning sign of failure in the near future.

Wont power up

This happened to me once too,
There are a series of things you can do but if you plan to go into the television UNPLUG it FIRST! I cannot stress that enough if you do not you could risk major electrocution and possibly death.
What you should do is plug it into another outlet, that one may have blown out.
You can call the company and ask, or go their website and go into the Q&A.
I recommend not messing with the wiring.
Best of luck to you.

High pitch buzzing and no picture

Your power supply, I mean the internal power suppy could be faulty, if you know how to deal with it, check it for abnormal oscillation, or get some help from someone who knows how to repair it.
