Hi,
my ACER laptop have started to tell me that there is "no wireless device", when I try to turn it on. I have checked in "device manager" ant it's not there. Is the device broken or loose? Where in the unit is this device located? Is it easy to find out if it is disconnected or broken?
Go an Acer site and download the NIC dirvers and make sure the wireless switch is moved to the on spot. The wireless switch should be on the side or back, marked on & off and a pic of a satlite or dish.
Go to Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections Right click on Wireless Network connection. Click disable Right click on it again and click on enable. It should work .

We have Hughes Net Wireless at our Home in Sedona, AZ. My computer has a Broadcom 802. 11g Network Adapter, Recently I obtained Quest Windows Live One. This is the first time we've come to Sedona since obtaining it and I'm unable to connect. My Son-In-Law can connect on his Lap Top, so it has to be something has happened to my settings on my computer. What can I do?
