Question about Acer (BCM94318MPG) Wireless Adapter
my ACER laptop have started to tell me that there is "no wireless device", when I try to turn it on. I have checked in "device manager" ant it's not there. Is the device broken or loose? Where in the unit is this device located? Is it easy to find out if it is disconnected or broken?
Go an Acer site and download the NIC dirvers and make sure the wireless switch is moved to the on spot. The wireless switch should be on the side or back, marked on & off and a pic of a satlite or dish.

Reset the network adapter
Go to Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections
Right click on Wireless Network connection. Click disable
Right click on it again and click on enable. It should work .
