I have epson c43sx pinter, i will use to my nootbook (laptop) with usb port but i can't connected it. there is warning on my screen "comunication error". how to use my printer and my laptop with usb?

This will be because of your problem in your USB port. So try connecting using some other Port. Still the same problem persists means, try connecting the laptop and printer with another USB cable. This error means that there is no problem with your laptop or with your printer. This is just the cable or port problem.

Connection to laptop

Most printers are connected to laptops via the USB ports. If the printer is supposed to be wireless, then you may have to connect the laptop via the USB port so you can activate the wireless port.

I have a Dell A940 connected to my old Dell desktop, which I want to keep. How can I get it to print from my new laptop? I cannot find any USB ports on the printer to connect.

Specs state that it is USB - probably a "USB-B" connector. Anyway, how is it connected to your desktop? Surely you can take the USB lead from the printer out of the back of your desktop and plug it in your laptop? Am I missing something here? Specs don't say it is a "parallel" connector (unless it has both). If it has both (and you are using the parallel connection (big plug with many pins) on your desktop then there should be a USB-B socket on printer next to the big parallel socket.

Need what type of printer cable to fix to the compaq laptop from Epson Stylus C86 so i can print from laptop

You can use USB or Parallel according to the user guide. Most laptops made recently wont have a parallel port and the cables are harder to find so I recommend USB.

Trying to connect from USB laptop to parallel printer

You can't have a double hook up to it,When the parallel port is used the usb port is disabled and when you use the usb port the parallel port is disable. This is done to prevent damage to the printer. You can network the laptop with the pc and print that way though

Cable connection from printer to laptop does not fit

And the laptop connector has 3 rows of pins while the printer connector has 2 rows, right?

You're trying to connect your printer to a monitor port.

As far as I can see your laptop doesn't have a LPT port. You will have to connect your printer to the USB port. If your printer doesn't have USB connection, you cannot connect it to your laptop.
