Question about PC Desktops
Try re-installing the drivers for the drive using your driver CD that came with the laptop or visit the manufacturer's website to download the drivers for the drive, install and restart your laptop.
If it is a software problem, then this should fix it. If not, then it would be a hardware problem(your lens may be weak). You could also try using a lens cleaner to clean the lens since it might be dirty.
If not, then you would have to change your drive.
