Shutting Down My Lg dlp keeps shutting off on its own any solutions?

I have an LG DLP the 44SZ21 model and it keeps switching off on it's own. Switch it on and after a minute or two it switches off into stand by mode and switch it back on the same thing happens again. This tv has been nothing but trouble, it's only 3 years old, the finance isn't even finished being paid for yet and have already shelled out money for 3 previous repairs (new lamp on two occassions), it's a joke for a tv that cost me a grand, in the old days tv's lasted for decades but despite all the advancements in technology LG can't manufacture a tv that lasts even a couple of years.

I am not paying for another repair man to come out. If I can't find a solution online then I'm just dumping this set and cancelling the direct debit for the finance, they can go swing, take me to court for all I care, I am sick of being ripped off by crappy companies selling inferior products.

There are no real solutions for this matter yet, but I would recommend a reapir man as the tv may soon end up not turning on.

Once before I had this same problem and FixYa gave me the solution. When you replace the lamp door, there is a switch inside so be sure the door is put in at an angle so to hold the switch up. It solved my problem after numerous repairmen missed it.
