You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password and privileges. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. It's possible that the smack damaged a cable running from the screen to the computer. Unless you are tech savvy, I suggest taking it in to a certified repair store, where the repairs should be relatively inexpensive.
but thus your computer managed to boot up before this thing show up on screen?
If yes try to go to safe mode by pressing F8 before it boots up then go to recovery or restore setting to earlier time before this thing happen.
If it does able to boot up after pressing the power then you'll have no choice but to reformat your hard drive, you can do this if you have other computer where you can attach your hardrive, but if none, much be better to bring it to service center
i suggest you go to bios setup and restor the default if it continues try replacing a diff hard drive or dvd drive drive thats not the one u r using rigght now and i think the problem will be resolved cos i had a similar problem with presario c500 what i did was change the dvd drive n it work well.
hope this helps
