Question about Dell Inspiron 1150 Latitude D600 14.1 LCD Display-LP141X14 CD-ROM Drive
Inspiron 1150 has a number of vertical lines on monitor. They are increasing in number over time. They vary in colour and a lighter grey area has appeared on right of screen about 5cm wide. Are you able to advise.
Connect an external monitor to the laptop and see if it also has the vertical lines. If the external monitor looks fine, then your laptop’s LCD display panel is bad. If the monitor has the vertical lines displayed on it, then your graphics card or motherboard is bad.
