Question about HP Pavilion dv2000t 14.1" Notebook Laptop PC (Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66 GHz, 1GB RAM, 100GB HDD, D... PC Notebook
When i fold my HP2117 TX laptop, it doesnt go stand by automatically.
It was working when i purchased it.
i had a CDROM problem and i gave my laptop to service centre. They changed cdrom. But after that my laptop never go stand by whenever i fold it. Whats Problem ????
There are some settings you need to make in the Power Options in the Control Panel.
First, go to the Control Panel and double click on the Power Options icon.
You will find Select a power plan page.
Click Choose what closing the lid does from this window.
On the Define power buttons and turn on password protection page, next to When I close the lid, choose what you want your mobile PC to do like Sleep, Hybernate etc both for when it is running on battery and when it is plugged in.
Click Save Changes to close the window after the changes are saved.
This should solve the issue.
