Re: internet cut out
Below is part of my reply to a latter post of yours.
internet keeps on making this weird sound on my home phone
- do you have a ADSL In-Line Filter/Splitter like the image shown
below? If yes, pls check if the phone is connected to the phone and
vice-versa. There are instances where they could have been reversed. If
correct, it may require replacement.

there are several reason why phones work slow
the memory is too full to allow fast operation
too many icons or apps on it
mostly , operators do not keep track of downloads/uploads and the amount of supplied bits is over run so the service provider cuts the transmission rate back
you're gonna need to go to your menu options to change the number of rings. Google your model and then look under manual. Perhaps this is it: http://www.home-phones.co.uk/assets/uploaded/documents/384_BT_Synergy_5500_userguide.pdf
not sure how that relates to a remote control---but it sounds like your download speed is slow, you dont say if you are using wifi or a home hub,if its wifi then you need an amplifier also make sure your graphic driver is up to date and any other programs related to video like flash player, finally only run minimal programs at a time not 10 in the background it makes your computer slow, look in the taskbar to see how many are running and shut them down, try msconfig
After having the Cricut for many years, I finally figured out how to cut the intricate cuts. Use multi cut 2, speed on med (3) and pressure on 4. I also keep my blade at 4. It takes a lot longer to cut but it cuts out good!
has nothing to do with the laptop its your internet connection, you may have exceeded the monthly download limit in which case your internet company will halve your speed and if you continue to download stuff they will cut you off, thats probably the most likely thing assuming this info is relevant to you
The blade should only be on a slow speed, for intricate work. (To make sure that whatever you're cutting, doesn't get too excited.) Otherwise, it should generally be on the fastest setting. Thats it, oh except, be carefull and mindfull of what this baby can do;) Don't forget to rate, thanks
Probably there is a problem with your internet connections speed. If the internet speed is not good enough then messaging programs such Skype or WLM can cut while talking.First you need to find out which side is the slow sender or receiver then apply for faster service.
the porblem seems to be at your ISP.
you need to check with your ISP and verify wha is your upload and downlaod speed. most of the time you should have 5Mb upload and 10Mb download as min.
the speed you are seeing is more like a dialup 133Kb.
I had this problem as well, noise and cutting out. I found out that its only because you are missing one of those special boxes you plug into your phone line then it plugs into the wall.
Without this you will get heavy static and you will lose Internet each time someone calls because thise small little boxes split the signal. Mine came from Qwest using an Actiontec router and the boxes I am talking about have a little phone on them and they are tan.
You should try unplugging all your phone for 2 hours if you still have a problem and see if it is better, if it is, then it has to be what I am talking about. If your still have problems with it cutting out after unplugging all of your phones look for other things that are wireless (iPods, cells, Wiis, Xbox, PS2-3s etc.)
If you have 3mb, you have cable internet right? If so, the cable company cuts your speed off if you download too much over a certain period of time. My cable company confirmed this. I can download all I want from midnight til noon, but after that... They will cut your speed off if you download more than a certain amount. You can call them to find out what the amount is.
