Question about Televison & Video

I have a Samsung Combo DVD player that won't read any dvds. I suspect the head is out of alignment but don't know how to fix it.

You will probably have to replace the DVD player with a new one . Or a known good one . thats the only way it worked for me.

Hi.

Try the following region hack procedures.
1. Turn on the player with no disk inside.
2. Wait for the no disc message.
3. Press REPEAT 57538.
4. The number 2 will display in the top left corner
5. Press 9 to select multiregion.
6. The Samsung BD-P4600 is now region free.

It works on most Samsung BD-P4600 .

I have a maganavox dvd recorder/player and vcr recorder/player multipurpose unit. I won't play dvd's made with easy cd/da extractor or roxio? Wondering what might be the problem? Both software programs...


your player is not made to play these type of dvds *(only store bought ones! prerecorded) you need a player that plays dvd+ and dvd- type disks

I have a small bedroom grundig tv with a dvd in . the dvd is going around but its not catching on. ive tried cleaning my dvds but its still not working


you will need to clean the lens for the dvd player....the little red dot that lights up and reads the dvds

Dvd player made by samsung. Will play cds just fine...will not play dvds.


The DVD's are not properly formatted or the DVD reading laser in the pick up failed.

sounds like the optical pickup is faulty in your DVD player, have you tried the DVD in another unit?
