it is just the indication that the PC is in standby mode! if this is the case in restarting the system u can see that the red LED of the CPU which should blink when the system is on will not blink! that means that the processor is not coming on. u can just open the CPU and unplug the smps and clean the pins of it mainly the ATX pin and reconnect it, it should work then. if still it is that same then try some other working smps!

This problem comes from the control switches on the front panel. I had the same problem and fixed it by opening the monitor (unscrew 3 screws on the back side, remove plastic shape of the stand, unscrew 5 screws of the stand and open the back; unscrew the 2 screws of the button switch panel). Now inject contact spray on every switch button. If the problem remains you may have to replace the button swithces. Thats all!
This is a "feature" they include to prevent accidental changes to the screen setup.
You should be able to unlock the OSD by pushing the Menu button and the right arrow button together for about three seconds. The message "controls unlocked" should appear.
