I need a bulb but it cost way too much for a projector that was given to me to sink 300.00 maybe find out the whole thing don't work. so is there a way to put any bulb in here to see if it's worth the 300.00 to sink in it? The bulb it came with it is broke (shattered) so if you have a solution please let me know.
It's stuffed and is now worthless unless you cough up the $300. git yerself a new projector off ebay for around a $100.

The map will turn on and the screen should display Lamp 0000H

After 2 years I finnaly solved the problem. There was a flaw in the lamp´s temperature circuit. A technician disassambled my BENQ PB8253 unit and fixed the problem. Charged me US$ 75.00. I´m in Brazil.

if you get no led on the top, reset the bimetal breaker. take off the top and press the red button on the front of the lamp housing.
