Click on OPERATE MY ONE XL.
Click on CHANGE PREFERENCES
Make sure TURN OFF SOUND not clicked
Go to next page.
Click VOLUME PREFERENCES.
Move slide to preference and click TEST.

My problem is that after driving for a while the volume reduces to where it can't be heard. Anyone else have this problem.

I have had the same problem. I would have to be holding the Tomtom to my ear and that would be iffy. This only started after I updated my maps online.

How do I increase the volume on my tomtom?

Tom Tom volume was once loud at max volume. Now, even saying increase volume, the volume remains very low. Even though the voice says maximum volume, the volume is unreadable at road noise.

TomTom One 3rd edition no audio any idea?

Hi,

First double check that the volume is not turned way down low or muted altogether.

With the unit turned on and displaying the map, tap the bottom left side of the screen.

A sliding bar will appear at the bottom of the screen. You can now adjust the volume to your desired level.

The volume menu is also available by tapping and entering 'Preferences menu'. You can also set the volume from here and check if it is muted.

If you continue to have issues post up a comment and I will be happy to respond.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Tap the bottom left portion of the screen. That should bring up a volume slider bar.

Or, from Change Preferences, make sure sound is turned on, and check the Volume Preferences.

The voice on my tomtomone is very low and you can't hear it when driving

Assuming you have a TOMTOM Go.

The volume is on the touch screen. You have to tap about 1/8 of the way up the screen from the botton.

A slide volume should come on the screen.

Regards and hope this helps...

Volume control on tom tom 830

With the tt on and displaying the map, tap the bottom left side. At the bottom a slider bar will appear. Use your finger to adjust the volumn to your desired level. Another way is to tap the map screen, then tap change preferances, tap the arrow until you come to volumn preferances and change the volume setting there.
