Question about Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Computer with Intel Duo Core 15.4 Inch PC Notebook
There are two possible problems. Either your laptop's keyboard has a physical problem, or the software has a problem. To eliminate the software problem as the reason, you can hook up an external USB keyboard and verify that all of the keys work.
If you are CAREFUL (because this might void your warranty), you can gently pry the spacebar and delete keys off of the laptop keyboard, clean them with a Qtip soaked in rubbing alcohol, and replace the keys. Make sure the laptop is shut down while you do this.
Even if it is not still under warranty, you can take it into an Apple Store and the folks at the Genius Bar will probably take care of it quickly and for free.
