Question about Electronics - Others
I could not re-format my USB2 TwinMos flash disk with any PC using Windows XP environment. The disk is write-protected although I shifted the tiny switch back and forth. Can you help me solve my problem?
hi- some pen drive has a little switch on the ends of it, make sure you have it toggle or positioned on the unlock, look on both ends if it has a black switch to unlock it, if there is none try to reformat the pen drive, reply for any concerns. Yhanks!!

Yeah heard about it before with wrong formats like FAT-FAT32!?

hey, i was having the same problem with the same flash drive... there are two ways how you can fix it..
1. try formatting using cmd
Go to start-->run and then type cmd and press enter
now the command window will open
in that type format X: (x being your drive)
This should work fine if not try the second method
2. Go to this website and download the recovery tool software which is exclusively for transcend flash drives.. click the link below to so to that site..
Download the recovery tool software under the topic software and install it in your system.
Now connect the flash drive in your pc and run the recovery tool application.. This will format your flash drive
