I did the code search, tv went off pressed enter, now won't do anything for me won't turn on// chng channels etc so I found the code thru search, no idea what to do from here?? TVi s a sylvania

I have a soyo tv and the codes on the setup sheet do not work


Try a code search method. If the remote have codes for your TV, you will won. It is a time taking procedure. Check it. Here the procedure is.
Code Search
If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Found the codes after an aggravating search, lost the instructions myself but finally found a copy:
Express view sat. codes: 0654, 0647, 0655, 0628
Star choice sat. codes: 0640, 0645, 0627
Sanyo TV codes: 0049, 0097, 0110, 0004, 0268, 0012, 0108, 0180

Nexxtech should post these - you get what you pay for I guess.
