Well all was fine for about two days then i realised my amp left side was not playing! So i thought it was rca cables needed to be changed it turned out that that wasnt the problem now this is a 4 channel amp so its strange that both channel 2 and 4 would just not work!
I had afriend who is atechnician. his boss amplifier stopped working on one channel,so what he did is openened the amp,tested the mosfet transistors and it showed signs of failure.then he went shopping for same type of mosfet transistors and with no luck in buying the right type, he put the amp away for acouple of weeks. then one day he hooked it up and strangely it worked again. he told me that while it was hooked up itwent into protection mode and for some reason it worked later. so i would not open it because of static discharge i would disconnect the amp for maybe acouple of weeks then hook it back up.... its worth a try & good luck

Faulty RCA cables, Or worse possible solution is if your amp stopped playing when it was pumping at high volume, you may have blown the RCA connectors inside your head unit Or inside your amp. If possible try another known good working amp with the wires you already have, If same happens, try different RCA cables. If problem persists after trying these, Its your head unit RCA connecters or amp RCA connectors. To rule out your amp connectors, try your amp in a friends car if possible, to rule out your head unit, try another good known working amp in your car with the wiring you already have
YOUR METHOD OF TROUBLESHOOTING USING THE PROCESS OF ELIMINATION IS RIGHT ON AND PERFECT. IT INDICATES A BAD AMPLIFIER CHANNEL. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS ODD, AS YOU HAVE TWO OF THESE NOW. IT IS RARE, BUT I HAVE SEEN INPUT CONFIGURATION SWITCHES WIRED BACKWARDS, SO THE ONLY THING LEFT TO DO IS TO HOOK UP THE BAD CHANNEL TO ONE SPEAKER ONLY, BY ITSELF. THEN TAKE ONE RCA ONLY AND PLUG IT INTO ONE RCA INPUT AT A TIME. THEN MOVE THE INPUT SWITCHES AND REPEAT THIS PROCEDURE UNTIL YOU HAVE TRIED ALL SWITCH COMBINATIONS AND ALL INPUT JACKS. WHAT YOU ARE TRYING TO DO AT THIS POINT IS TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS ANY RCA JACK WITH ANY SWITCH POSITION, THAT WILL ALLOW YOU TO GET OUTPUT FROM THAT CHANNEL. IF AFTER THIS TEST, YOU STILL HAVE NO OUTPUT, THEN NO MATTER HOW ODD, IT WOULD INDICATE THAT YOU DO IN FACT HAVE A SECOND DEFECTIVE AMPLIFIER. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.....V
Check all your RCA"smake sure they all have output..Then use a fluke metere, or any meter you can get that tests ohms, and measure each speaker..they should all read arround 4. If the outputs from the deck are good, and the speakers measure correctly, then you have got yourself a bad amp.
If both the left front and left rear channels are out, reverse the RCA cables to determine if the problem is signal related. If the left side plays when you reverse the RCA cables, reverse them at the head unit to see if the audio changes sides. If it does, the head unit is likely the problem. If it doesn't switch sides when you switch at the head unit, the RCA cables are the problem.
You can plug into the left channel and it will feed both the left and right channels.
To confirm that it's feeding both channels, connect the speaker to one channel at a time. With signal fed into the left channel only, you should get sound when you connect the speaker to either channel.
Well firstly are you using a parametric crossover with your radio and how much rca cables do you have coming you head unit (car radio) if you going to bridge the front up with you rear speakers u wont be able 2 hear the rear speakers try hookinking it up 2 your head unit's front speaker output and have ur rca cable connected to your amp running on your rear output of your head unit by doing this you can use your fader on your head unit to control your front and rear speakers
