Question about Hamilton Beach BrewStation 47665
I have lost the user's manual for this model. It needs cleaning to get rid of mineral deposits. This brewstations leaks coffee out on the counter. What can be done to solve this problem? Is this a problem caused by mineral deposits from hard water or is something else the cause?
I had similar problem. i removed screws and rubber seal on tank, and located a hair line crack near rubber seal, a dab of crazy clue seems to have solved this problem for now

My 47665 leaked from the hot plate area. Go to an auto parts store and buy the Permatex High-Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket Maker. Do the following to the bucket... 1.) Take the hot plate & gasket off. 2.) With your finger spread the Permatex on the gasket lip, the inside of the hole & the surface where the hot plate sits (just enough to make a very lite coating). 3.) Wait 5 minutes & install the rubber gasket. 4.) Spread the Permatex on the rest of the rubber gasket (very lite coating). 5.) Wait 5 minutes & install the hot plate (the plate will want to come out, so just push down on it). 6.) Wipe off access Permatex on the outside & inside. 7.) Let it set for at least 12 hours, perk 3 cups of water and wait for Auto-shutoff. 8.) Now go make some coffee that you've been waiting for... LOL
