Question about Mitsubishi WS-65809 65" Rear Projection Television
(The tv is a Mitsubishi WS-A65 thats is all it says on the sticker on the back) For Some reason the tv was working fine, but once in a great while the screen would flicker and it would make like some type of sparking noise. then one day i went to turn it on and all it did was the green light came on , but no picture or sound on screen, then it made that same sparking noise kinda like there was a short circuit somewhere. so i pulled off the front grill for the speakers and then took off the protective wood panel for the BULBS and Ballast's well i think they are ballast's??? and i then tried to turn it on again and it started sparking from the piece that is all the way to the right it looks like the piece that the bulb connects to. so i then undid the power to that "ballast"??, and tried turning it on and it did not spark , but the tv would not turn on either, what in the world could be wrong with this thing and do you think it will be expensive????
Your crt is leaking coolant onto the board , you need to rebuild whichever crt's are leaking and fix the board!
