Question about Jenn-Air JES8850 Electric Kitchen Range
Stove is beeping suddenly and says remove meat probe, which is not even being used in the stove...tried unplugging the stove, but same problem when we start again. really annoying and can't get it to stop
SOURCE: meat probe button on control pad
there is no real way to reset it you reset it when you turned the breaker off, It sounds like the EOC (electronic oven control) is faulty. I would just keep reset it and keep doing that to bake the turkey how hot will it get before it buzzes? is it showing any error codes?? F1, F2, F3 etc.....

the probe is put into the oven to sense heat and to prevent the oven from oveheating during normal operation. the reason the probe is beeping is because it's dislogged or needs to be replaced.
the only way to make the beeping stop is to disable it but i wouldn't recommend it.
have a technician run a diagnostic on the stove. sounds like the probe needs to be replaced.

I have the issue as well, seems like when I use the convect. feature. I have not called to have it serviced yet, but I have found that opening the oven door and truning the fan on for a few minutes, corrects it. At least until you turn it off again.
