Any available solution? Thanks.

Thanks.

I have a HD tv and the green light comes on when I turn it on but the screen has no picture. The screen is pitch black and there's no sound. Do you have any idea as to what the problem may be?

I have the same problem. No picture, no sound, no response to remote. Red lamp light on. Replaced lamp & green power light comes on for a minute, lamp lights up, then goes out & red lamp light comes back on. Spoke to the store & they said it may be the chassis which went bad on a lot of those tvs. Was that part recalled? Is it something I can replace myself?

yes, i have had this same problem and mitsubishi is right now working on letting me know how they will compensate for $750 worth of lamps I have had to replace and television now needs a fifth lamp.

TV has not worked properly since it was new. Previously could always "fix" it by unplugging it. (Service calls when under warranty were useless/pointless). TV failed completely - black screen, no audio - last week. Changed lamp, same problem; green light comes on, fans make noise, then in shuts off and steady red light illuminates until set is unplugged.

I was having the same issue after a lamp replacement and the warranty tech said that it was the lamp power supply that went out. The part was on back order and look at the board neaqr the lamp and it had a blown capacitor. This would make since why the lamp would come on then shut off right away. She replaced the capacitor and works fine.

Did you use an original mitsbishi lamp. did it slide in easily? one of the most common problems with a lamp replaement is pushing the connector away from the lamp if it doesn't slide in easily. unplug the set, take out the lamp and look with a flashlight to see if the connector is in place. if so put the old lamp in and see if it works. if it does then your new one is bad. if it doesn't then email me

No Picture but still has sound

Hi,do you hear any strange noises? If you hear clicking or like wanting to turn on it could be the board that powers the lamp it's called the ballast. Here's the instructions to replace it :http://www.fixyourdlp.com/guides/samsung/bp47-00033a.php It's major symptoms are clicking, electrical sounds, shuts off and on and get the lamp indicator. But if you don't hear any strange noises,tv is around 6000 hrs,2-4 yrs,It's major symptoms are clicking, electrical sounds, shuts off and on and get the lamp indicator, it could be time to replace the lamp. The lamp you need is 915P049010. you can find it here: http://www.discount-merchant.com/Mitsubishi-915P049010-Lamp-Replacement-p/mitsubishi-915p049010-lamp.htmHave a blessed one!

We have sound and a blue screen with no picture

Your ballast might not be able to light up your lamp. Do you hear a clicking, buzzing? this can be an indicator that your ballast is too weak to light up the lamp. this board will need to be replaced at some point of your tv's life.

Mitsubishi WD-65733 no picture, electrical buzzes in series

What it sound's like is that the lamp ballast is the problem. Buzzing sounds like when the power is first brought to the ballast it has to ramp up the voltage to get the lamp to light, then the voltage drops back down when the lamp is lit. Sounds like the lamp ballast isn't ramping up the voltage the way it should. May have to replace it. A good service shop would be able to do this for you.

Buzzing noise from Mitsubishi DLP WD-52327 after replacing bulb

Did your replace lamp come on the screen or did you lose picture? Just because the LED indicator suggest replace lamp it doesn't mean it needs it. If your pix was dull or loss of brightness then replace it, if not then just reset your lamp timer, check your owners manual for instructions.

that is a common problem with that model you will need the v26 power pwb repair kit and the V26 FMT pwb repair kit. You can get both kits at the following link which includes the replacement capacitors and instructions on where the capacitors are located. Heres the link.
