Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV
Had Mitsubishi WD52525 for about 2 years. the screen indicated replacing lamp was needed. After replaced the lamp, powered on the TV, green light was on, but no picture and no sound, then red light on. the TV no longer works.
Any available solution? Thanks.
I was having the same issue after a lamp replacement and the warranty tech said that it was the lamp power supply that went out. The part was on back order and look at the board neaqr the lamp and it had a blown capacitor. This would make since why the lamp would come on then shut off right away. She replaced the capacitor and works fine.

Did you use an original mitsbishi lamp. did it slide in easily? one of the most common problems with a lamp replaement is pushing the connector away from the lamp if it doesn't slide in easily. unplug the set, take out the lamp and look with a flashlight to see if the connector is in place. if so put the old lamp in and see if it works. if it does then your new one is bad. if it doesn't then email me
