The volume wont go higher than 12 on my Jensen Mcd5110 Marine Radio/am/fm/Cd receiver W/Detachable face, how can I fix it to go all the way up to 26 plus?

take off the bottom cover ,find the volume switch on the outside then find it on the inside. Now get some WD-40 and spray the control on the inside with a very, very light squirt of WD - 40. Let it set for a while then try it.It should work.

Display not working

I have the same problem. There's a little ribbon cable behind the contacts for the faceplate. It gets folded as the face plate motors in and out and eventually breaks like mine did. I'm fixing it tonight and then I will disable the motorization. Followed by NEVER BUYING A PIONEER AGAIN. I reccomend you do the same.

The volume on my LG VU phone is so low and I have the volume turned up as loud as it shows? I have to put people on the speaker to be able to hear them when a call comes in. This has just started and it is...

quit dropping your phone
just kidding
usualy mi phone does that after a few falls the speaker has most likely come detached from the case or there is **** in the speaker canal
take the phone to local shop spend 20 bucks and have them fix it
or option 2 take phone apart and investigate witch means go buy a new phone the next day as you will likely do more damage than repair to the case .
or option 3 buy a blue tooth for your phone they work great even a cheep one from tger direct or factorydirect.ca they sell for 20-100 so it's money well spent.

but it's your money

Set time on jvc car audio

I fixed this problem with info. from another posting. You push and hold the select button until demo comes on the screen, then release it and push the button that advances the cd. This will take you to the hour and minute screen. Turn the volume dial to set the time.

Aspire 4730Z cd/dvd volume low

I had the same problem on my ACER 5810 - Here is how I fixed it...

Right click the speaker icon in the bottom right -> Select Playback Devices (in Win7)

Highlight the speakers and press Properties

Choose the Levels tab - and max out this slider

Then choose the Enhancements tab and select AND apply the Loudness Eq setting...

This is now as loud as you will get (should see about 20% increase overall)

Word!

Volume is low on my turntable

You have to amplify the output from your turntable output to the input of your amplifier. To do this you can buy what is known as a pre-amp. Radio shack probably still sells them.
Be sure to ground your turntable to your amplifier and not the pre-amp. This should stop any hum or at least diminish it. Bear in mind that your records will not sound as loud as your CD's. Hope this helps.

Need to fix the time

I have the the sony cdx gt 400 and the manual is of no help but I figured it out. You have two options...option 1 is wait until 1 o'clock and hit the small reset button on the radio behind your detachable face, or option 2 is a even better option. Press and hold the volume button in and options will appear...then by tapping the volume button you will cycle through the various options until you find "clock adjust" then press the small "display" button below the volume knob and also right next to the "source" button...the hour will flash turn the volume knob to desired hour then tap the volume knob or display button and the minutes will flash then turn the volume knob to the desired minutes, and you are done...hopefully this helps

PCD120U volume issue

i think I know what your problem is ... if you hold down the menu/select button ( the button between the volume buttons) there will be a volume option it'll say P --- volume. I think that sets a default volume that the cd player will always reset to once the cd player is turned off then on again.

Nakamichi cd-35z

There is adjustment for bass, mid and treble. Access this by pressing the button to the right of the volume knob. I leave mine set at +1/2, -3, +2 . I also set LOUD on which is done by holding the same button down. With these settings everything sounds pretty spot on, occasionally need to adjust the bass up/down and treble dependant upon the CD.
