Want to clean Mold/Mildew out of ice & water dispenser

I have a GE TFHW22RA side-by-side refrigerator that has mold/mildew in the ice/water dispenser and flaps. Is there a way to disassemble it to clean it?

I have the same problem with water having gotten behind the plastic front on the ice maker lever. I tried spraying it on both sides with Tilex bleach spray and let it stand for a bit. I also tried moving it a little bit, as I couldn't remove it and didn't have the right tools to remove the center screw. The bleach spray seemed to work quite well and may leave a preventative layer of hypochlorite behind. We'll see. I then sprayed water from a spray bottle and switched to crushed ice and collected a few cupfuls of crushed ices to get the bleach away from food surfaces.

GE refrigerator has mold on the water dispenser

You can dip a toothbrush in bleach water and scrub it down. Make sure to really wash it out. If you rinse it out well, you can try to clean it out.

Mold growing around ice dispenser area. Cant figure out how to get to the mold .

Pull ice maker out and clean it. Then make sure you have a fresh water filter on water supply. Mold in the freezer is uncommon if its truly freezing inside. You have dirty water coming in.

Whirlpool Gold side by sideGC3PHEXNS00 not making ice but the water works. Already replaced the filter.

put your finger in the ice mold and see if there is ICE in the mold. if no ice then use a turkey baster and put approx 1/4 cup of water into the ice mold, slowly. in about 2 hrs you should hear ice drop and then refill with water. if there is ice in the mold, you most likely need a new ice maker.

I have had my Pelonis water cooler for approx 2 years now the cold water tastes like mildew. I tried cleaning it with a product from Culligan but the problem seems worse. Any suggestions

I would suggest a 50/50 mix of water and bleech, and make sure you let it soak long enough to kill the germs. Then flush is well with plenty of water.

Ice production is very low

You should clean the coils beside the compressor. That helps.
Maybe think about replacing the water filter.
That ice maker makes 3 attempts to fill the mold. It's on board intel monitors changes in resistance when water is added to the ice mold.

I have a IM-4A and it continues to dispense water without making cubes...possible solutions please

Check to see if there is water/ice in the ice mold of the ice maker. If the mold is dry, you probably need to replace the water valve.

How to clean where ice & water come out on a Hotpoint side by side. It appears to have mildew I think.

You can disconnect the water line at the bottom of the freezer door and using somthing like a turkey baster or one of those baby nose bulbs, pump a water and baking soda and bleach solution through it. Let it sit to kill the mold and rinse throughly.
