Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
I have a Kenmore 80 Series Heavy Duty Super Capacity Plus washer machine model # 23812100. It's only about 3 years old and hasn't been abused, single owner.
About a month ago I noticed some racket comming from the machine. It appears the agitator is stripped and does not rotate correctly. The about three days ago I put in a load of laundry like usual. When it went into spin cycle it wouldn't spin and was making a very load noise.
Any idea what's wrong and how much it will cost to fix. I can't afford to pay ayone to fix it so I have to by whatever parts I need and fix it myself.
Your agitator dogs are stripped there about $10.00,remove cap to replace. easy, need 1/2 to 3/8 adapter or 7/16 socket depending on model. and your coupler is broken about $20.00 its what runs yous washer its like your belt under neath between motor and transmission , less cloths max water will stop it from happening again
