Everything work (i.e., the fan, lights), but the microwave. The light will come on when you press start, but it still does not heat the food...Timer counts down and that's it...I have only had this microwave for about a year now

Is the door closing properly? Do you hear it "click" when it closes. A lot of times the problem is the door switch. It is located inside the microwave. They are made of plastic and they break. If the switch is broken, the magnetron(microwaves) will not start.
Good Morning Paul, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
For the above-listed Frigidaire model number, FMV156D, it is not recommended to use a bulb larger than 30 watts. Your microwave does not have an option available to adjust the lights. If the light is dimmed, than more than likely your microwave is experiencing an issue with the control board, a potential wiring failure, or faulty light socket. Regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. I would strongly recommend connecting with a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause. You can often locate a qualified service provider through the manufacturer website.
Sounds like the problem is in the high voltage. Most common would be magnatron, capacitor and diode. For safety reasons this should be checked by a professional. Look in your owners manual because some high voltage parts have a longer warranty than 1 yr.
